anthelmintica moeten nader onderzocht worden door middel van geschikte testen (bijv. Faecal Egg Count Reduction Test). Wanneer het resultaat van de test(s) duidelijk wijst op resistentie tegen een bepaald anthelminticum, moet een anthelminticum uit een andere farmacologische groep met een ander werkingsmechanisme worden toegediend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speciale voorzorgsmaatregelen voor gebruik bij dieren<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Behandeling met dit product geeft alleen optimale resultaten als tegelijkertijd een strikte hygi\u00ebne van de stal en de ligplaatsen in acht wordt genomen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speciale voorzorgsmaatregelen, te nemen door degene die het diergeneesmiddel aan de dieren toedient<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dit diergeneesmiddel bevat flubendazol, dat bij sommige personen overgevoeligheidsreacties en contactdermatitis kan veroorzaken.<\/p>\n<p>Personen met een bekende overgevoeligheid voor flubendazol moeten contact met het diergeneesmiddel vermijden.<\/p>\n<p>Voorkom contact met de huid.<\/p>\n<p>Voorkom het opwaaien en inademen van stof. Was de handen na gebruik.<\/p>\n<p>Was in geval van accidentele blootstelling van de huid het betreffende gebied grondig met veel water.<\/p>\n<p>Draag persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen bestaande uit ondoordringbare handschoenen en goedgekeurde stofmaskers (een wegwerp halfgelaatsmasker volgens Europese Standaard EN149 of een niet-wegwerpmasker volgens Europese Standaard EN140 met filter EN143) bij het hanteren van het diergeneesmiddel, intermediaire producten en het gemedicineerde voer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gebruik tijdens dracht, lactatie of leg<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In verband met mogelijke embryotoxische effecten dient voorzichtigheid te worden betracht met betrekking tot het gebruik van dit diergeneesmiddel aan het begin van de dracht.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overdosering (symptomen, procedures in noodgevallen, antidota)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Varkens: doses van flubendazol in het voer van 250 ppm of meer kunnen leiden tot tijdelijke diarree (zachte of vloeibare faeces), zonder het klinische gedrag of functioneren van de dieren aan te tasten. Zachte ontlasting kan vanaf de tweede behandeldag worden gezien; een maximum wordt bereikt op dag 7 tot 12.<\/p>\n<p>Kippen en fazanten: overdosering veroorzaakte geen bijwerkingen. In kippen werd een veiligheidsfactor van &gt; 34 in leghennen (ad libitum voedering) en van &gt; 65 voor fokdieren (gelimiteerde voedering)
