Roer de suspensie 12 uur na de bereiding van het mengsel opnieuw gedurende minstens 20 seconden met een handmatige mixer (garde).<\/p>\n<p>Een homogene suspensie na verdunning van het diergeneesmiddel kan reeds verkregen worden door minstens 20 seconden zachtjes te roeren tot de suspensie licht troebel wordt.<br \/>\nDe maximale aanbevolen verdunningsconcentratie is 50 ml diergeneesmiddel per liter.<br \/>\nZorg voor en na de behandelingsperiode dat het waterdistributiesysteem wordt gereinigd.<br \/>\nIndien nodig, onthoud de dieren van drinkwater 2 uur v\u00f3\u00f3r de behandeling om de waterinname te stimuleren.<br \/>\nDe dagelijkse hoeveelheid dient zodanig aan het drinkwater te worden toegevoegd dat alle medicatie binnen 24 uur is geconsumeerd. Zorg ervoor dat het gemedicineerde water volledig wordt geconsumeerd om onderdosering te voorkomen, aangezien dit kan leiden tot ondoeltreffend gebruik en de ontwikkeling van resistentie kan bevorderen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speciale waarschuwingen<br \/>\n<\/strong>De behandeling met het diergeneesmiddel geeft alleen optimale resultaten wanneer tegelijkertijd een strikte hygi\u00ebne van de stal en de hokken in acht genomen wordt.<br \/>\nOnnodig gebruik van antiparasitica of gebruik anders dan aangegeven in de SPC kan de selectiedruk op resistentie verhogen en leiden tot verminderde werkzaamheid. De beslissing om het diergeneesmiddel te gebruiken dient voor elke kudde\/koppel gebaseerd te zijn op bevestiging van de parasitaire soort en mate van besmetting, of op een inschatting van het risico op infectie gebaseerd op epidemiologische eigenschappen.<\/p>\n<p>De volgende situaties dienen vermeden te worden, omdat zij de ontwikkeling van resistentie\u00a0bevorderen en uiteindelijk kunnen leiden tot ondoeltreffendheid van de behandeling:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>te frequent en herhaald gebruik van anthelmintica van eenzelfde groep gedurende een langere periode;<\/li>\n<li>onderdosering, door onderschatting van het lichaamsgewicht, onjuiste toediening van het diergeneesmiddel of een niet of onjuist gekalibreerd doseerapparaat (indien van toepassing).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Het wordt aangeraden om gevallen waarbij resistentie vermoed wordt verder te onderzoeken, gebruik makend van een geschikte diagnostische methode (bijv. Faecal Egg Count Reduction Test). Wanneer het resultaat van de test(en) duidelijk wijst op resistentie tegen een bepaald anthelminticum, moet een anthelminticum van een andere farmacologische groep met een ander werkingsmechanisme worden toegediend. Bevestigde resistentie dient gerapporteerd te worden aan de houder van de vergunning voor het in de handel brengen of aan de bevoegde autoriteiten.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Speciale voorzorgsmaatregelen voor veilig gebruik bij dieren<br \/>\n<\/b><\/strong>Niet van toepassing.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Speciale voorzorgsmaatregelen, te nemen door degene die het geneesmiddel aan de dieren toedient<br \/>\n<\/b><\/strong>Dit diergeneesmiddel bevat flubendazole, dat bij sommige mensen overgevoeligheidsreacties (allergie) en contactdermatitis kan veroorzaken. Het diergeneesmiddel bevat ook parahydroxibenzoaten die een contactovergevoeligheidsreactie kunnen veroorzaken bij eerder gesensitiseerde personen.<br \/>\nHet diergeneesmiddel kan huid- en oogirritatie veroorzaken.<br \/>\nVermijd direct contact met het diergeneesmiddel.<br \/>\nPersoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen bestaande uit handschoenen moeten worden gedragen bij het hanteren van het diergeneesmiddel. Was de handen na gebruik.<br \/>\nPersonen met een bekende overgevoeligheid voor flubendazole of \u00e9\u00e9n van de hulpstoffen (methylparahydroxybenzoaat en\/of propylparahydroxybenzoaat) moeten contact met het diergeneesmiddel vermijden.<br \/>\nIn geval van oogcontact, grondig spoelen met water. Zelfs bij doses die 4 maal de aanbevolen dosering zijn, verandert de kwaliteit van de eieren niet. Alleen een daling van het gewicht van de eieren en een lichte daling van de eierproductie kan worden waargenomen bij doses van tweemaal de aanbevolen doseringen hoger. Het gewicht van de eieren wordt weer normaal wanneer de behandeling wordt stopgezet.<\/p>\n<p>Bij varkens zijn geen ongewenste effecten waargenomen na toediening van een dosis van 5 x 2,5 mg flubendazole per kg gedurende 3 x 2 opeenvolgende dagen (bijv. 12,5 mg flubendazole gedurende 6 dagen).<br \/>\nIn het geval van een grote overdosis kan op de 2e dag van de behandeling milde diarree van voorbijgaande aard optreden, die mogelijk 7 tot 12 dagen aanhoudt zonder het gedrag of de prestaties van de dieren te be\u00efnvloeden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Belangrijke onverenigbaarheden<br \/>\n<\/strong>Aangezien er geen onderzoek is verricht naar de verenigbaarheid, mag het diergeneesmiddel niet met andere diergeneesmiddelen worden gemengd.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><div
